Three generations of the Ayers family
The Ayers family has served the Traverse City community since 1975, with roots in the car wash business dating back to 1960. Ryan Ayers runs the detail shop, his twin brother Matt runs the car wash and their father Scott still helps wherever he's needed.

How long does a ceramic coating last?+
Durability depends on the System X package selected and how the vehicle is maintained. We walk you through the expected life of the specific coating we recommend before any work begins.
Do you correct the paint first?+
Yes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath, so we decontaminate and correct the paint before application. That is why correction is included in our coating packages.
Will a coating survive a Michigan winter?+
That is exactly what it is for. Salt, sand and brine are far easier to rinse off a coated vehicle, and the coating takes the chemical abuse instead of your clear coat.
Can I still take it through a car wash?+
Yes — the Ayers family has run the car wash next door since 1960. We will show you the maintenance routine that keeps the coating performing.
How long will you have my vehicle?+
Correction and coating work is measured in days, not hours. We confirm the exact schedule when you approve your quote so you can plan around it.
